How to Report a Concern

There are a number of ways by which you can report a concern about a child in our school.  You can:

  • speak to your child’s class teacher.  You can do this when you drop off or pick up from school.  Alternatively you can phone 0161 224 1269 and ask to speak to the relevant teacher.  The teacher may need to call you back when they are not teaching
  • speak to a member of the senior leadership team, you can do this by phoning to arrange to make an appointment or speak on the telephone
  • arrange to speak to the Designated Safeguarding Officer – Mrs S Lowe or one of our Deputies Mrs S Powell or Mrs E Hughes

If you have a concern where a child in the community might be in immediate danger you should call the police and contact the Manchester Contact Centre on 0161 234 5001 and speak to a Contact Officer.  You can report your concerns anonymously.  If your concern relates to a Chapel Street child please inform one of the Designated Safeguarding Officers – Sally Lowe, Suzanne Powell and Ella Hughes.
